Working farm, Liberty View Farm was the perfect location for Carolyn and Eric’s DIY and “give back” themed wedding in the Hudson Valley.
Carolyn and Eric met in musical improv class in NYC and fell in love. I wish you could have heard Eric’s song that he sung to Carolyn during the reception. Her reaction was priceless.
And check out Carolyn’s Raul Penaranda shimmery, backless pink gown!
Carolyn and Eric wanted their wedding to have more of a positive impact on the planet by creating a donation-based registry and holding a volunteer day the day before the wedding itself with the hope that the ripple effect would be felt by many, not just the wedding guests and the couple. What a fantastic idea.
“We created our wedding around the theme of giving back, creating a day of community service activities for guests to participate in and raised over $8,000 for charity. We are creating a template for #GivLuvWedding so other couples who want to create give back themed weddings can have support in doing that! Our project website is www.givluvwedding.org 🙂
