In Her Words–
After Jon proposed in Central Park on Christmas Eve, we both knew that New York was the perfect city for our nuptials. We’d booked the River Cafe for our Christmas Day meal and fell in love with it on the spot. On returning to the UK we set about searching the internet for the perfect vendors and were so lucky to eventually compile a list of people that we now class as friends.
Planning a wedding from across the pond was certainly a challenge, but definitely a risk that paid off. We wanted a day that was elegant but unique, so getting married under the Brooklyn Bridge against such an incredible backdrop completely fitted the bill!
Our wedding day was the eleven-year anniversary of our first date, hence the reason for marrying on a Sunday. We had 31 friends and family join us in New York and inevitably, New York now has 31 more converts to the Big Apple way of life!
