“Le Petit Prince” meets English Countryside was the theme of Morgan and Alex’s unique High Line Hotel New York City wedding, with a ceremony at the super raw space at Pier 40 on the Hudson River. Morgan discovered Pier 40 when she worked for Oscar de La Renta and was scouting venues.
There was no electricity so BeetleBug Studios had to create the beautiful space from scratch with overflowing florals, a chuppah dripping with huge yellow peonies, wooden boats, tin containers, and a vintage bicycle all filled with heaps of wildflowers.
The groom and his groomsmen all wore tuxes handmade by his uncle, Kenneth Cole.
When you get to work with a couple like this and spend the day with a bride like Morgan, it’s a good day. Wait until you see the shimmery silver party dress that she designed herself.
Check out the gorgeous post on the 1st Dibs Website where the bride got her Yves St. Lauren runway sample beaded dress.
